Hi, I'm Anna
Some of my favorite childhood memories are of going to the library and visiting the Baptist Bookstore to visit my grandparents and watch the books being made. Back then, I never would have guessed that I was setting the foundation for a future business. I can clearly remember looking at those giant printing machines and trying to follow the mechanics, appreciating the smell of fresh ink, but wanting more connection. I wanted to see people’s reactions when they got their books they’d been waiting for. I hoped that one day I could create something that would touch people’s hearts in ways they didn’t know they needed.
This is the goal of Anna Rose Projects. Working directly with people to make books that are uniquely theirs, writing stories that help people learn and understand each other, creating art that tells its own tale with or without words, and most importantly, bringing others joy. The world doesn’t need more AI slop or emotionless filler. It needs real, handmade creations.
That’s why I want to work with you to make something new. Instead of cheap, bulk-made items that 5,000+ people can pull out of their bags, each custom piece is uniquely yours. I write books to fill a need I see in my audience. Every day means one-of-a-kind creativity.
I have lived in Arkansas all my life, though I’ve moved around the state. The first book I can remember writing and making was a blatant ripoff of the children’s book “If You Give A Mouse A Cookie” back when I was five. The arts have always been such a big part of my life that my college degree is a Bachelor of Theater Arts with a minor in music. With my family's support, I have continued to grow in my art and earned a full-time job in an art studio, teaching people how to make their own art.
After the events of the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked with the Garland County UAEX to release a children’s book that prepared elementary students for the new version of public school. Then, in 2026, I officially published “Puppy’s Poppy Puzzle,” a children’s book about the different seasons, created through an art challenge with my sister and sister-in-law. Then, not long after the second book’s release, I taught myself bookbinding and began creating original covers and notebooks. Now, I am proud to present the combination of these parts of me, Anna Rose Projects.
